Following relative peace in the state, organizer of the 33rd Kaduna International Trade Fair, Kaduna Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture said the Fair would commence on Friday and end on Sunday May 6. This was contained in a press release signed by the Director General of the Chambers, Malam Usman Saulawa.
The Fair was shifted from February to April because of the insecurity in the state.
“Already, exhibitors including states governments, foreign and domestic have been registering for their participation,” the statement said.
As part of the Fair’s activities, there will be a one-day seminar on Monday April 30. The seminar with the theme “Reawakening Nigerian Enterprises for Global Competitiveness” will be chaired by Chief Ernest Shonekan, former head of state government, while Engineer Mustapha Bello, Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission will be the guest speaker.
